Enticed by the promise of new loot (rather than a sense of moral duty), you strike out through the grounds and corridors of the gothic castle to find and kill this mysterious Dracula… The new storyline sees you coming upon a mysterious castle, where a man named Richter has asked you to help him vanquish a great evil within. Best of all (at least for some), the DLC includes 51 of the original Castlevania music tracks, as well as 12 tracks reimagined in the style of Dead Cells. You’ll also be able to unlock 14 iconic Castlevania weapons including the Vampire Killer, Throwing Axe & Holy Water. Yeah, it’s not much, but it definitely gets the job done with a nice throwback to the intro to the original Castlevania.ĭead Cells: Return to Castlevania will see the arrival of two new biomes for you to explore, including Dracula’s castle. Rather than a slick animated trailer as before, this time around, we get some “blink and you’ll miss it” gameplay footage of the DLC in action.
